Handmade Rosary, Fire Agate and Sterling Silver

This 5-Decade Rosary was made with gorgeous 6MM Faceted round agate gemstones.  The stones are a range of warm oranges, ivory and browns. There are 53 Hail Mary gemstones.  The 6 Our Father gemstones are capped with Sterling Silver bead caps to differentiate them.  The Rosary Center is 3/4" tall with the Virgin Mary engraved in polished Sterling Silver.  The Crucifix is 2" tall and also Sterling Silver.  All chain, jump rings, eye pins and findings are also Sterling Silver.  Finished length is 23" long.

 

Fire Agate is found in Arizona, California, and in some areas of Mexico.  Fire Agate is a layered stone. The layers are small enough that light entering them forms interference colors known as "fire."
